Johan has had a smiley and adventure-filled month #3! He likes to smile at the monkey on his playmat and any other faces he encounters. He does intense research on the existence of his toes by staring at them whenever he has the opportunity. He has been enjoying watching mommy cook in the kitchen in recent days, but only as long as he can watch the action! He can roll from his back to his side and is getting better at grabbing things, including taking his pacifier out of his mouth and then getting upset that it’s no longer there!

His adventures have included a day trip to Poolesville, MD with Mommy, Aunt Lisa, and Savta Fran to walk on the C&O canal towpath and see some sunflowers whose middles were bigger than his head! He had his first trip to a beach, where he got his feet wet in the Chesapeake Bay. He got to meet cousin Ella and a few days later got to go to the zoo with mommy and daddy, where he slept through the first otters that mommy was excited about, but was awake and interested for the second kind of otters. Last week, mommy took him on an errand to the ATM, and he giggled at the beeping. Who knew ATM beeps were so funny?!
